Which ratio suits your preference?
Use the Batter Ratio Chart as a starting point and experiment with different ratios. This will help you find the ratio that give your batter exactly the desired texture. Keep in mind that even a change of just 5 grams can noticeably affect the texture.
How to get the best results using our batter
Weighing = more accurate & always consistent
Use a scale, it’s the best way to prepare your batter. Batter mix 500gr + Water 600ml/gr
Mix with care for best results
If you use an electix mixer DO NOT over mix. Up to 1.5mins max.
Important! Watch frying time and reaction closely
Smedes batter may react differently than your own batter recipe.
How does the batter hold over time?
The quality remains high, but we always recommend preparing it twice a day.
